it's officially summer!  {according to the calendar... and the earth, anyways.}  but according to me, it's been hot enough to be summer since early may, maybe even april.  but that's coming from an arizonan.

oh!  and talking about summer, this song makes it a "good time"  always.  i'm obsessed.  and i just couldn't wait for monday to share it with you.

orange-banana smoothie!

so for breakfast today, i made one of these delicious things.

yeah.  it was yummy...  so i though i'd give you the recipe!

ORANGE – BANANA SMOOTHIE  {serves 1}

INGREDIENTS: 
- 1 banana

- ¾ - 1 cup of orange juice

-5 ounce container of vanilla greek yogurt

BLEND ALL INGREDIENTS UNTIL SMOOTH.

{note:  i used 1 cup of oj and that was a little too much for me, that's why i wrote 3/4 cup.}

cake cookies!!!!

ok, so these are about the best cookies ever!!!!!  i love them.  we have made them so much in my family and last night my friend, hannah, and i made some!!!  so, i thought i might document it for ya'll.

ok, so here is the recipe.  i got it from here, but our family does them a lil' bit different.

cake cookies!!!!!

Ingredients:

1 package of cake mix

1 egg

1/4 of oil

1/4 of water

(optional) 1 cup of chocolate chips, nuts, etc.

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350° F

Combine cake mix, egg, oil, and water.  Beat until well blended. 

Stir in remaining ingredient(s)

Put on greased cookie sheet

Bake for 15 minutes or until done

Let cool slightly and enjoy! 

yeah, the linked recipe says it makes about four dozen, but they do them tiny!!!!  {pshh... by the teaspoon,} we do them this size.
