as of late, i've really been loving pony tails.  they are usually so easy and can be so cute!  and they are perfect for those quick-ready days.

8th grader.

so.... tomorrow i start 8th grade.  i'm excited.  but i don't want to do the homework.  {who does?}  but anyways, i thought i would write down my goals for this {school} year:

- finish the book of mormon again {i just finished it for the first time today!!}  oh.  and i want to mark my progress with the beauty above.

- establish my own little workout every day {or every other}  get fit.

-grow out my hair.  period.

- do fabulous in algebra.  my first high school credit.  oh great.

- get in better touch with the world of fashion.  be a fashionista.

- gain followers to this blog.  my goal is 20 right now.  c'mon we can do it!  spread the word.  please?

TRESemmé split remedy

i love this shampoo.  like i've said before i get horrible split ends, but this shampoo and conditioner has helped tons!  seriously it's miracle stuff.  i haven't used any of the other fancy shmancy mumbo jumbo things in the picture, but trust me, the shampoo and conditioner works just fine without the rest {although, it may be nice to have}.  i could, literally go on for-ever about how freakin' awesome it is.  but i won't.

it claims that after just 3 washes, 80% of your split ends will be gone, and it's true!  even after 1 wash i saw serious results!  i'm in love.  it makes your hair feel so soft and amazing and wonderful.

welp, that's it!  i hope you try it out!  because like i've said a million times, it's amazin'!

yesterday, i did a tiny side bun for the hair goal.  it was super simple, but fell out a lot...

sister date!

as you may know from an earlier post, my sister {chanel} and i went on a sister date yesterday!  she gave me a "coupon" for christmas saying she would take me out for one "sister date."  and i hadn't used it 'til now!

we kicked it off by going to logan's roadhouse!  best place ever!!!  they give you peanuts and you just throw the shells on the floor!  and the have a jukebox full of country music!  here are some pics of us in front of their sign.

 then we went to tempe marketplace.

there we went to a few places....  though, first we went to charmin' charlies.  {this awesome jewelry store!} we didn't buy anything, but it was fun anyways!  did i mention it was both of our first times going there?!

we also tried on some wedding ring look-a-likes!  we took pictures with our favs.

we both got chocolate, but i got 2 big brownie chunks and some cookie dough chunks on mine!

then we went to downeast basics, it'sugar, and gap.  sorry i don't have any pics, but we kind of got distracted, espeically in it'sugar!  that was an amazing place!  i just wanted to eat everything!  oh and at gap we saw this hoody that totally looked like niall's from one direction:

then i splashed my feet in the little water park there.

yup!  we had a great time.  best memorial day ever!!!!

p.s. i finally got that trim today!!!!  my hair is split-end free!  it feels amazing!!!

the hair goal

so, this summer i have decided to try {notice the emphasis}to do a different hairstyle every day, as much as possible without heat {straightener, curling iron, etc...}.  the reasons as to why:

1. i am trying to grow out my hair {no heat}

2. i am not a big person for doing different hairstyles.  i have literally straightened my hair pretty much every day for the past year.  i want some variety.

&...

3. to learn super sassy cute hairstyles for 8th grade!

yeah, it's crazy, so tonight {or sometime soon} my mother is giving me a trim {to get rid of my horrible split ends!} and let the growing of hair begin!  

today i did a classic ponytail with a flower on the rubber band.  {sorry i don't have a pic for you guys!}
