// I was so happy and sing-songy and giggly all day, totally regarding the fact that I had tons of homework waiting me at home.

Lincoln + Book Report

I have a book report due in about 13 days.  I'm on page 69 out of 309.  Talk about stress.  So today has been dedicated to reading Anne of Green Gables with my favorite "ho ho ho" blanket and just read.  I'm sure it would be a wonderful book if I wasn't so stressed about reading it!  Haha, but seriously.  It's amazing, it's just hard to appreciate it.

On a happier note, I saw Lincoln Yesterday!

It was really, really good.  It was all about passing the 13th amendment.  And you know how I love anything political or having to do with office.  It just interests me so much.  Anyways, I highly recommend it.  The actors are amazing {especially Josh Gordon Levitt, he was a pleasant surprise.} and Daniel Day-Lewis {Lincoln} looked so much like Abe Lincoln himself!  It was great.    All you have to watch out for it's repetitive language.  Gosh darn it this world.

So, in closing, don't procrastinate your book reports and see Lincoln.  Kapeesh?  Kapeesh.

last thursday, i went to my school's "advanced drama production," the princess who had no name with samantha.  it was so funny!!  i laughed throughout the whole. darn. thing.  and now i have a new phrase,

"that's tight, tighter than the jonas brothers' skinny jeans."

when i heard it i almost died.

oh!  and BIG shout out to liz!  she was rapunzel and she did so amazing.  love you!  

can't wait for the musical next semester!

uuuuuhhhh. i'm dedicated.

so.... you guys remember this post?  well, guys, LIVE WHILE WE'RE YOUNG IS OUT!!!!!!!  aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!  i can't even take my excitement.  let me just tell you about my day.

i woke up and after going on twitter, realized that. today. was. the. day!!!!  i started freaking out for 2 reasons.

1.} i was super freaking absolutely uber excited!  and....

2.} it was going to be coming out while i was at school.

yeah.  the last one ain't too happy.  but, i survived {barely.}

so, i get to school practically screaming at everybody that the song was coming out.

and at 10:00, which is in between classes, i was on the verge of crying and screaming and dying all at one time.  i saw my friend, kallee, in the courtyard and told her, "one direction's new song is playing somewhere in the world right now!"  she told me later, that the person she was walking with said, "wow, she's obsessed."

and then at 11:00, i was in my second hour, science, and i was about to die, because that was the time the music video was coming out on vevo!  but i was too distracted to really react because we were on a really awkward subject at the moment... {oh science, why do you torture me?}

and then i was freaking out pretty much the rest of the day.  telling people my sob story of not being able to be at my house and wanting to ditch school, etc....

and then in 6th hour... well, i wanted to die, again {like i've wanted to all day}, because it was almost time to go home!

and, luckily, my mum was picking the carpool up from school, so i was silently searching on the radio, hoping/knowing {i had a feeling in my gut} that it would be on somewhere.  i had gone through most of the stations, and thought there was no more hope, when i turn to 104.7.  it's a song i've never heard before, and it sounded quite like one direction.  i was {again, silently} freaking out.  and then i hear it, "tonight let's get some... {pause} and live while we're young!  i started freaking out and my head automatically whipped back to julie in the back seat.  and this was our basic conversation,

me- "this is it!!!"

jules- "i know!!"

me- "aaaahhhhh!"

me- "i didn't know if this was it!"

jules- "me either!"

both of us-  "aaahhh!"

boys in this carpool- "oh my gosh..."

and then i proceeded to freak out and preach to everyone in the car my profound  love for 1D.

and then one of the boys asked the one other girl in the car {besides julie and i} if she like one direction and she grins and is like "yeah!"  it was great.  she's great.  that cute little sevie.

seriously, though, words cannot express my freak out about it.  i kept putting my hand on my face all wonky.  and this guy in my carpool was all, "why do you put your hand on your face?"  and i'm all.  "i don't know, i just freak out and don't know what to do with my hands!"  hahahaha.  it was great.

and then as soon as everyone was out of the car, this was the basic conversation i had with my mom,

mom- "they're just boys"

me- *pull out 1D cd* "look at them!  they are not just boys!"

mom- "this isn't the 2nd coming."

me- "yeah, but..."

mom- "this isn't religious!"  *smiles*

me- "yeah, but if i were to freak out like this during something religious, it wouldn't be very reverent!!!"

mom-  "haha, this is true."

hahahaha.  "it wouldn't be reverent."  good one, right?

but anyways, so as soon as i walk in the door, i freak out tell my dad the story, run into the library, put my lunch away, found the vid on vevo and some other website.  watched it.  almost died.  and now i know every word and it's on constant repeat.

and now, for the whole reason of this {freaking long} post.  the music video.

isn't it stinking amazing?!?!?!  i love the song.  i love the video.  i love them.  !!!

p.s.  don't you just like seriously love the vid with a passion?  all of their music videos are so different.  they're so cool!  and always have the cutest decorations.  {notice the adorable banners in the vid above.}  gratz to the person {or people} who decorate and make props for their vids.  i'm proud of you.  :D

ok guys, so you remember that 1D shirt i told you i was getting?!  well...  i finally got it!!  and i. am. PSYCHED!!!  woooooo hoooooooooo!!!!!

but.  when i got it, it was too big!  i almost had a mental breakdown, but then i thought, "why not make it into a racerback!"  and, with the help of my mum, i did! we just tied 2 different ribbon knots on and cut them.  here's the pics:

yup!  welp, i was pretty ecstatic when i got it.  i walked in my room and saw it lying on my bed and, literally, went "huuuuuuhhhh!!!"  {you know that dramatic breath in you do when you are shocked or excited...}  

oh.  and it's spirit week at school this week.  today was jersey day, so i wore this shirt and said it was my, "one direction jersey."  that counts.  right?  haha.

1st day of school {and maybe the 2nd}

the first day of school.  it was, well... asi-asi.  so let's explain why my day was, well, not the best... ?

i went to all of my classes and it was all fine until 5th hour.  apparently they had put me into some pre-engineering class i had not signed up for.  {what?!}  i was seriously, so. mad.

trust me, that's not all, but i won't be a sad sally and tell you the rest..  {i have a sister nicknamed nelly, and she is very happy!}

but other than that, my day was ok.  i got to see all the people i hadn't seen all summer, etc., etc.

today, on the other hand...  was great!!!  i got my schedule changed and i told them i wanted spanish.  it's been one day and i feel like i can speak it fluently.  so don't be surprised if i go all spanglish on you.  {see above:  "asi-asi" = so-so}  and guess what?  one of my bff's kallee is in the class, too!  and it has a really nice teacher.  :D  oh.  and niall of one direction speaks fluent spanish  {hott, right?!} so i'll be able to tweet him in another language soon!!!  yay!!

oh and my new social studies class has one of my great friends stephanie!!  yippee!

welp, nos vemos!  {that literally translates to "we'll see each other," but what ever, i don't know how to say "blog to you later!"  haha.}

8th grader.

so.... tomorrow i start 8th grade.  i'm excited.  but i don't want to do the homework.  {who does?}  but anyways, i thought i would write down my goals for this {school} year:

- establish my own little workout every day {or every other}  get fit.

-grow out my hair.  period.

- do fabulous in algebra.  my first high school credit.  oh great.

- get in better touch with the world of fashion.  be a fashionista.

- gain followers to this blog.  my goal is 20 right now.  c'mon we can do it!  spread the word.  please?

pioneer day trip: day 2

so, on day 2 of our trip we woke up, got ready, and then babysat my cousins {note:  shelbie is my cousin, but from the other side of my family. she is not related to the g-ma whose house we're at, but we're all pretty close.}  it was a bit hectic {when is babysitting not?} , but way fun.  they pretty much just watched the "spubbob" {spongebob} movie the whole time, which was nice.

we also went to see the horses across the street from my grandma's house and pet them.  {we did this every day, like twice a day, but i just might not add it in.}

later that day, we got ready for the rodeo {!!!!} they have up there every year pima is in charge of the parade and oh my goodness, i was psyched!  it was going to be my first rodeo that i had been waiting for since around the beginning of 6th grade!  it was soooooooo fun!  i almost died of happiness.  and i might add that there were a lot of cute cowboys there.  a lot.  and some cute little cowboys, too.  we got home around 10:30 or 11 and got ready and went to bed.

day 3 coming later today! {sorry i didn't post this yesterday}  sorry no pics today...  i didn't take much on the trip, though.

p.s.  i finally got my schedule for school!!!  i don't know half of my teachers, but it's all good.  i just hope my p.e. teacher isn't a boy!!!!  that would be tough.  :(

last day of school!!!!!

{welp, it is now!!!! :)}

welp, yesterday folks was the last day of school until august.  i'm so happy/excited!  a little bit sad fits in there somewhere....  {only because i will miss all of my friends [especially you anna!] and well, i can't believe i am saying this, some teachers, too.}  but, anywhoooo, it has been a great year!  i remember the first day of school, i wasn't that nervous until i stepped out of the car and started walking away.  i was thinking... ok, where the heck do i go from here?!  i was so freaked!  but i was fine and not even late to any of my classes.  {except i think i was late to math the second day....}

but, congrats to my graduating seventh grade year!  we made it!  we got through our first year of junior high fine and now we're off to the top of the school!  the big dogs!  {or should i say cats?}  no more being a "sevie!"  {for the record, i was always proud of being a sevie, i almost said thank you to the "eighties" every time!  hee hee.}  go sabercats!!!

congrats to anyone else graduating from anything!  {12th grade, 6th grade, 8th grade, kindergarten...}

aims

so, this week at school is aims testing and our schedule will be all crazy.  but, anyways, i had, like, 3 long dreams last night about aims.  honestly, i don't know why, because, i'm never worried or nervous for aims.  and i'm not much now, either.  it was weird.  in every dream they gave us a weird prompt to write about or one that didn't make any sense.  i woke up like every 15-20 minutes in every dream starting at like 6:50ish.  ya, well hopefully we won't have any weird writing prompts!
