once upon a time,  i was on the lovely pinterest and i came across this amazing thing...

and i decided i just had to make my own!  so today while spray painting my furniture {more to come on this...}, i grabbed our pumpkin, asked my mum if i could paint it, and low and behold, i did.  here's a diy tutorial!

i know, it's not as adorably perfect as the original, but it's something!  you can't go wrong with chevy chevy chveron!  haha.  hope you enjoy!

ok guys, so you remember that 1D shirt i told you i was getting?!  well...  i finally got it!!  and i. am. PSYCHED!!!  woooooo hoooooooooo!!!!!

but.  when i got it, it was too big!  i almost had a mental breakdown, but then i thought, "why not make it into a racerback!"  and, with the help of my mum, i did! we just tied 2 different ribbon knots on and cut them.  here's the pics:

yup!  welp, i was pretty ecstatic when i got it.  i walked in my room and saw it lying on my bed and, literally, went "huuuuuuhhhh!!!"  {you know that dramatic breath in you do when you are shocked or excited...}  

oh.  and it's spirit week at school this week.  today was jersey day, so i wore this shirt and said it was my, "one direction jersey."  that counts.  right?  haha.

k, so, i need to make money.  fast.  so i can buy myself one of these lovely things.

 is amazing, but the power button is broken, so it's basically useless unless i have my ihome right next to me to plug it in.  and it doesn't help that the things over warranty.  yeah.  i know.  it's tragic.  i'm freaking out.  {especially because i'm going out-of-town in a week and i most likely won't have my new one by then  :(  ...}

so, any ideas on how to make some major money fast?  enough for this: the refurbished 32gb ipod touch 5th generation for $249.  please, please, please help me out.  thanks bunches!

blog makeover!

woohoo!  okay, so i've finally finished redoing my blog!  what do you think?  do you like it?  i'm so happy, because i've been wanting to do my blog in this new fashion of the blog world for a while!  and, to add to the happiness, i finally figured out how to make a button with a grab box.  turns out the tutorial that i've always needed was from wikihow.  huh.  

oh! and because i loved doing it so much, i've decided that if anyone wants a blog makeover they can have one, as long as you post about me giving you a makeover when i'm done! {tryin' to gain followers here... :D }  the makeover will include: a header, favicon, "header from blog body divider", about me, a button, and basic blog makeover-ness {coloring, background, text-adjusting...}.  welp, hope you like my "new" blog!

summer to do list: make a craft

so on, my summer to do list, it says "make a craft."  i did this craft unintentionally and it took me less than five minutes, but it counts, right?  haha.  i made a new pencil holder:

the hair goal

so, this summer i have decided to try {notice the emphasis}to do a different hairstyle every day, as much as possible without heat {straightener, curling iron, etc...}.  the reasons as to why:

1. i am trying to grow out my hair {no heat}

2. i am not a big person for doing different hairstyles.  i have literally straightened my hair pretty much every day for the past year.  i want some variety.

&...

3. to learn super sassy cute hairstyles for 8th grade!

yeah, it's crazy, so tonight {or sometime soon} my mother is giving me a trim {to get rid of my horrible split ends!} and let the growing of hair begin!  

today i did a classic ponytail with a flower on the rubber band.  {sorry i don't have a pic for you guys!}
